Job Description:

Overall responsibility is to ensure that the firm operates within the applicable regulations and meets the regulatory standards. The position requires continued interaction with other teams within the Firm to manage IT-related matters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, support, troubleshoot, and monitor trading servers and related trading platforms.  
  • Maintain, support, troubleshoot, and monitor Bridge and any FIX API (Trading- Pricing)  

           connections.  

  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs  
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management  
  • Perform on-going maintenance and upgrade of the company’s trading infrastructure.  
  • Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment relating to trading infrastructure.  
  • Investigate, resolve and maintain a record of various incidents relating to trading platforms.  
  • Day-to-day support and monitoring of all trading platforms.  
  • Manage the trading platform data center operation parameters.  
  • Control of the security and integrity of the trading infrastructure.  
  • Document existing IT procedures and policies.  
  • Managing assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.  
  • Conduct test plug-ins and Manager-API applications, Bridge setup and troubleshooting any issues that arise in the day-to-day operations.  
  • Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals  
  • Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations  
  • Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes  
  • Cooperating with 3rd party service providers for maintaining/troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications, Experience, Traits specific and relevant to the job:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or IT is required.  
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
  • Experience with system administration of Windows servers and desktops, and desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of networking, including basic exposure to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decision making at the Top management level.  
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with team and users  
  • Strong documentation skills to create consistent, repeatable processes  
  • Proactive approach to technology and operational improvements  
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills to solve complex technology issues

Job Description:

Based in Abu Dhabi, Trade Support Officer will need to possess the necessary knowledge, skills in the financial services sector as to understand the Company's business, the applicable legislation and will be responsible for trade support activities including timely and efficient document processing and implementation of systems and procedures. Further, need to have a good understanding of compliance procedures, risk management and market operations and possess necessary certification.  

Roles & Responsibilities: 
  • Take primary lead role in all client trading activities.
  • Handling clients and groups allocations in all Trading Platforms.
  • Configuring clients and groups settings (Margin rates, visible symbols, Markup, Commission, Swaps etc.)
  • Assist with various aspects of the trading process, including but not limited to execution, risk management, daily operations, and overall desk activities.  
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients and our financial counterparties.  
  • Ensure orders and trades are properly entered and confirmations are communicated to clients.  
  • Reporting on news that occurs throughout the day.  
  • Monitoring MT5 manager and ensuring correct pricing.  
  • Write Market Recap report and include Economic news updates, and main economic events of the day.  
  • Supervise and monitor trades on CFD and DMA platforms.  
  • Check expiries, dividends, and holidays and confirm with traders and clients.  
  • Respond to messages on both email and Teams.  
  • Taking offline trades, if necessary, and placing on them directly onto global exchanges.  
  • Updating swaps on MT5  
  • Preparing trade file trades taken during the shift and to be sent to Backoffice.  
  • Management and training of Trade Support team.
  • Ensure to escalate issues to suitable IT staff if necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master’s in finance preferred or Bachelor’s degree in commerce / economics / accountancy from a recognized university.
  • Good knowledge of Derivatives (exchange traded or otherwise) including CFDs and FX industry, Meta trader 5 platform, CRM system, ADGM and FSRA regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Works independently and as a part of a team.
  • Must be located or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position in the financial service industry is preferable.
